The Kasama-Inari shrine worships the Shinto God named "Ukano-Mitamano-Kami", that is said to administer the rules of the great nature especially in terms of foods and a source of life; this shrine can divine a good or bad harvest for agricultural labours who have been keeping a strong connection with the Shinto God.
With the aim of conserving ancient martial arts and their precious traditions, the Yabusame ceremony has been annually performed at a special riding track constructed in the ruin of the Kasama Clan's (a local feudal lord) equestrian archery training field on 3rd of November during Kikumatsuri (The Chrysanthemum Flower Festival) period since 1950
