On 23rd November, Labour Thanksgiving Day in Japan (National Holiday), the Yabusame performance is annually conducted at the Tado-Taisha shrine in Tado Town, Mie Prefecture.
This Yabusame was wonderfully revived as a town festival in 1991 and it became so popular among a prefectural expo in Mie.
The leading apprentices of the Ogasawara School Mie Prefecture Division and those of them who live in West of Japan brilliantly show the best results of their constant trainings to the audiences as the Yabusame archers; town mayor, members of the Yabusame conservation group and many town people recruited from the public also attend the performance as the Yabusame archers' faithful servants.
Since its revival, this performance is being settled as a highlight and a big promotional sightseeing event of Tado Town.
