The house of Ogasawara have been continuously succeeding their supreme equestrian archery technique, propriety, and martial sprit from father to only one son over 800 years since the establishment of the Kamakura shogunate .
The Ogasawara became personal equestrian archery and martial tutors of the prominent and powerful military general of the Kamakura era, the Muromachi era (the Ashikaga shogunate), and the Edo era(the Tokugawa shogunate), that is the most significant and famous fact to be mentioned throughout the Japanese history.
